”Hmm. One short film done, other one to do.”
(I mean: It’s filmed, but not edited :D)

It’s finally a wrap for the movie I directed! Last week we were supposed to film another short, where I am the producer.

Morning of the 2nd filming day, ~6:40am
”Whoa, Elisa has called.”
(Elisa is the director.)

”Hellooo!”
”Hi! Did I wake you up?”
”Nope.”
”We’ve some problems.”
”Tell me.”

”We can’t film today because of the rain.”
”Is that so.”
”Yeah. So what now?”
”We postpone the filming!”

I’ve been taking care of many things during the past few weeks.
As an absent-minded person I was worried if I could manage.

But all has been going well! We’ve been super lucky with many things.

And I have learned a lot!
Being orgnised, at least, and that I actually can take care of many things at the same time.

Now we have to make a documentary about music students.

I managed to change our shoot date to a better time, and WE HAVE A LOCATION.
But the hard work is only about to begin.

We’ve done multicam shootings of a couple of bands performing during the week.
It was, without a doubt, one of the COOLEST THINGS I’VE EVER DONE.

Kisse and I went to see The Martian.

”Let’s go for a pint.”
”Yeah.”

The next three weeks are going to be damn busy…

Oh well, I can rest when it’s Christmas!

Kisse and I were seriously stuck with our script. There were gaping holes in it.

Our script writing teacher’s reaction to our script:

LUCKILY we were divided into small groups, and finally it was Atte and Miquel who came up with awesome ideas for the problematic parts! THANKS, GUYS. You’re the best.

Sometimes the only thing you need is another person’s opinion or thought!

Okay, so: the week may have been stressful, but now I’ve got the feeling that things will start rolling! I’m so looking forward to making the short film!

Yesterday was a pitching day.

Kisse and I have been intensely developing a plot for our short film. A coffee bar can be inspiring!

”And then a voice could suddenly go: ’Hello?'”
”OH YEAAAHHH”

And finally we got to pitch it.
(I looked like a kindergarten teacher??)
The pitching wasn’t really that different from a regular presentation of a school work. Only our own teachers were present, so that must’ve affected my feeling about it.
I kind of expected some people outside our school would be there.

In the afternoon, Mira and I watched Silver Fang OMG
(The line I’m saying is from a finnish video, and I’m not gonna translate it :D HA!)

Immediately after the first idea for the sound art piece, I got another one.
FISH’S NIGHT SONG

The Fish’s Night Song is a visual poem written by Christian Morgenstern in 1905, that consists of little curves and lines. Like this:
I think it has a distinct sound. I could try and create it!

In high school we had a performance of the poem, where we made bubbly sounds. It was great fun.

At school I got a third idea.
CONFLICT BETWEEN SOUND AND SIGHT

It could be fun to create a piece with mismatching images and audio.

I’m kind of stuck between these three ideas.
Should I just get a move on and see what happens?

So yeah, hello! Finally I’ve got a comic blog. Along with school stuff there will be other things from my life. Or something. Yay!
